When Wet Republic opens on March 22, sun-worshippers might find the “ultra pool” a bit nicer than they left it last year. The first phase of the 53,000-square-foot pool club’s two-year remodel will be complete, including an expanded DJ booth, a “tricked-out LED display” with special effects, an expanded bar, amped-up cabanas and bungalows, lockers (yay!) and sculpted horticulture (double yay!). The club has also released hours for the upcoming season: Thursday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Mandarin Oriental’s Mandarin Bar is getting even classier. The 23rd-story bar’s new Jazz Sundays program brings together live jazz and craft cocktails (the Cherry Amour and Golden Leaf Martini were concocted just for MO in Las Vegas) from 4-8 p.m. and offers a sophisticated, almost secluded ambiance hard to find at center Strip.

Pro boxer and Vegas party boy Floyd “Money” Mayweather celebrated his birthday at N9NE Steakhouse Sunday night, dining with friends and tweeting a photo of his birthday cake—shaped like a $1,000 bill with his picture on it—courtesy of Showtime. Mayweather then brought the party to Body English, where he ordered Cristal Magnum for his entourage and got several shout-outs from DJ Shift.
