Clarion Hotel Implosion
The Clarion Hotel and Casino is imploded in the early morning hours Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, in Las Vegas. The hotel, opened in 1970, was once owned by actress Debbie Reynolds and named the Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Hotel. A mixed-use resort, catering to convention-goers, is planned for the site, according to developer Lorenzo Doumani.
