Chef Enzo Febbraro, a native of Naples who was most recently cooking in Washington, D.C., at D’Acqua Ristorante, D’Acqua Café and Forno Italian Oven & Grill, offers Italian-American favorites and signature dishes at Allegra, which opened in August 2012.
Signature dishes include baked lasagna Napoletana, lamb shank osso bucco, risotto pescatora with shrimp, scallops, calamari and clams, and a 14-ounce breaded veal chop parmigiano.
Allegro is open for dinner nightly starting at 5:30 p.m. and has a late-night menu available until 6 a.m. The restaurant space has become an after-hours hot spot for clubgoers from nearby XS nightclub.
Lunch is served Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.
