Bonefish Grill is expected to open March 18 in the Town Square. The restaurant specializes in market fresh fish cooked over a wood-burning grill. Appetizers and hand-helds include Bonefish’s specialty, “Bang Bang Shrimp,” ahi tuna sashimi, Prince Edward Island Mussels Josephine and "American Style" Kobe beef burgers. Bonefish provides a casual atmosphere with hand-blown amber glass lamps, metal sculptures of mangroves and fishing scenes. (See Sun story.)
The chain, which was established in 2000 in St. Petersburg, Fla., has restaurants in 30 states. The chain closed its restaurant on South Eastern Avenue in 2010 during the recession.
