Steve Nielsen started mixing, freezing and scooping his frozen custard in 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah. After getting rave reviews by a variety of publications, including the Wall Street Journal and Forbes, he has been expanding. The menu includes concretes, nut concretes, cones, cups, frozen custard toppers, sundaes, sodas/floats and fountain drinks. The local store's old-fashioned wood-burning stove decor has been featured on TV's History Channel's "American Resorations."
