Life without Carolla

Hey, even though the Ace Man is off the air, radio can still be fun, right? At least that’s my hope surfing FM stations during Adam Carolla’s old morning time slot ...

107.5 (Xtreme, Carolla’s former home): Bush’s “Glycerine,” aka 15-year-old rock. Ugh.

92.3 (KOMP): A NASCAR ticket giveaway. A DJ asks, “Who would French kiss their mom for a suite on Sunday?” Double ugh.

93.1 (The Party): “Bed-wetting on the suede couch,” a mock trial. Amusing for the first three minutes. And then it goes on. And on.

97.1 (The Point): Led Zeppelin’s “What Is and What Should Never Be,” aka 40-year-old rock. Good tune, though. Will revisit.

102.7 (Fresh 102.7): Banter about the producer’s grooming habits involving moisturizer. Yuck.

94.1 (Mix): A caller had his eyebrows shaved off while sleeping. Old hat.

100.5 (Jack): The Beastie Boys’ “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party).” I feel like fighting to get Carolla back on the air.
