Magician Paul Draper reads minds in Vegas

Image
Magician Paul Draper

Paul Draper can bend spoons with his mind, see through duct tape and read other people’s thoughts. How did he develop superhuman powers? By studying Native American ghost dancers, South American cannibals and Louisiana spiritualists, of course.

Draper now combines his anthropological findings with his background in theater; he performs magic and mentalism as part of the rotating cast of What Happens in Vegas. If you’ve got an embarrassing secret, you might want to bring a tin-foil hat.

What Happens in Vegas with Paul Draper. July 29-30, 7:30 p.m., $10. Clarion Hotel (formerly Greek Isles), 732-9100.
