Vintage Bike Night
August 19, 7 p.m., free.
Bar+Bistro, 107 E. Charleston, near the corner of Charleston and Main.
202-6060

Bar+Bistro at The Arts Factory is hosting its third Vintage Bike Night tonight. More than 150 vintage motorcycles will be lined three deep behind the Arts Factory, with the highlight being a 1934 Indian Chief.

The event grew organically, beginning with a group of vintage motorcycle collectors who wanted a place to park their bikes and have a cocktail. Then Arts Factory owner Wes Myles decided to add some music. Tonight’s lineup includes the bands My First Rodeo, Tara Grace & The Magnetics and The Quitters. Reason says the event will mostly feature motorcycles, but vintage bicycles are welcome.

“All the motorcyclists come with the coolest, dopest rides,” says Ryan Reason of the Arts Factory. “Most of them are vintage.”

Drink and food specials abound. There’s no admission charge to the event, which begins at 7 p.m. The pig? Well, it paid.
