The Color Purple The musical, based on Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, received 11 nominations at the 2006 Tony Awards. Catch this touring edition during a limited Smith Center engagement. April 3-6, 7:30 p.m.; April 7-8, 2 & 7:30 p.m.; $27-$141.

Golda's Balcony This powerful, provocative work surrounding the rise of Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir remains the longest-running one-woman play in Broadway history. April 1, 5 p.m., $40-$140, Smith Center.

The Final Four Kentucky’s got it in the bag, right? Or could Louisville, Ohio State or Kansas actually pull the upset? As someone somewhere once said, that’s why they play the games. And why we watch. Semifinals March 31, 3 & 6 p.m.; finals April 2, 6 p.m.; CBS.

The Killing Whodunit? Who cares? This show is about the process behind catching a killer, in all its messy glory. Season 2 premieres April 1, 8 p.m., AMC.
