Concert on-sales: Nas, Culture Club, Alice Cooper, Heart and more

This week’s on-sales include an Illmatic hip-hop icon, a legendary new-wave reunion show, plus the King of Shock Rock.

Hip-hop MC Nas will head to the Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard Pool for a 20-year anniversary concert of the legendary album, Illmatic on Friday, October 17 ($32). Also added to the Boulevard Pool lineup are Sub-Pop rockers Dum Dum Girls on Thursday, October 9 ($15) and a locals’ night with Vegas alt-rock band Avalon Landing and rapper Ekoh on Thursday, September 4 ($5). Tickets to all shows go on sale 10 a.m. on Friday, August 15 at ticketmaster.com.

Touring for the first time in 14 years, the original Culture Club lineup, including frontman Boy George, will perform at the Pearl at the Palms on Saturday, November 22. Tickets are $63-$163 and go on sale Friday, August 15 at 11 a.m. Also announced, shock-rocker Alice Cooper will perform on Wednesday, November 26. Tickets are $50-$100 and go on sale Friday, August 15 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.

The House of Blues announced this week a three-night run with iconic women of rock Heart from Friday, December 5 to Sunday, December 7. Tickets are $55-$125. Also on sale at HOB: Comedy group The Dan Band will perform Saturday, October 4 ($25), and country singer Chase Rice lands at the Mandalay Bay venue on Friday, October 31 ($17.50-$20). Tickets to all three shows go on sale Friday, August 15 at 10 a.m. Also announced: DJ Kill the Noise on Thursday, October 9 ($15-$20), with tickets on sale Monday, August 18 at 10 a.m., and country singer Gary Allan on Thursday, December 11 and Friday, December 12 ($46.50-$76.50), with tickets on sale Friday, August 22 at 10 a.m.

Hard Rock Live announced French DJ/producer Mercer with Bare and Jauz on Saturday, September 13 ($29-$35) and post-hardcore band Finch with Maps & Atlases and Weatherbox on Wednesday, October 8 ($23-$27). Also announced was a midnight show with The Kyle Gass Band, featuring Kyle Gass of Tenacious D, on Friday, October 31 ($15-$20). All tickets will be on sale Friday, August 15 at 10 a.m. via ticketweb.com.

Country singer Travis Tritt will touch down at the Downtown Container Park on Thursday, September 4 with an opening set by local artist Beau Hodges. Tickets are $35-$45 and are on sale now.
