Another day, another new music festival.

That's the way it's felt lately in Las Vegas, and we're not complaining. The latest new fest—named Intersect and set for December 6 and 7 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds across from SLS on the Strip—was announced today, joining Life Is Beautiful, Electric Daisy Carnival, Punk Rock Bowling, Psycho Las Vegas, the soon-to-debut Day N Vegas and other multi-day events.

The "phase one lineup" includes four headliners—Foo Fighters, Kacey Musgraces, Beck and Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals—plus Brandi Carlile, Chvrches, Flying Lotus (in 3D), Gesaffelstein, H.E.R., Jamie xx, Kaytranada, Leon Bridges, Spoon, Thundercat and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, with "many more to be announced."

The festival, which is presented by Amazon Web Services (AWS), will feature three stages plus "innovative art installations and tech experiences," an arcade plus other games and activities and "gourmet" food and beverage offerings.

Tickets—priced at $259 plus taxes and fees for general admission and $549-$849 plus taxes and fees for VIP—go on sale Friday, August 16, at noon here.
