Even better: All proceeds from those tickets—significantly discounted from the normal two-day cost of $169—will benefit the Mayor's Fund for Las Vegas LIFE, which "provides a vehicle for corporate and philanthropic partners to support innovative initiatives that improve the quality of life for all Las Vegas residents," according to the Mayor's Fund website.
The arrangement is being made possible through a partnership between the Amazon Web Services-produced Intersect fest and annual Downtown Las Vegas festival Life Is Beautiful. LIB CEO Justin Weniger says the proceeds will specifically "be deployed on Life Is Beautiful-led public art and youth education initiatives in Las Vegas."
Scheduled for December 6 and 7 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds adjacent to Circus Circus, Intersect will bring an impressive batch of performers to the Strip, including Flying Lotus (in 3D), Chvrches, Leon Bridges, Weyes Blood, Jamie xx, Brandi Carlile, Kaytranada, Jpegmafia, Spoon, Kelsey Lu, H.E.R., Japanese Breakfast, Thundercat, Snail Mail and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
