2008 Presidential Election

Amen Corner: Democrats take over Nevada

The overwhelming victory by Barack Obama was something we’ll always be proud we were a part of, but don’t forget about the Democratic victories in Nevada last week. Thanks to state senate wins by Shirley Breeden and Allison Copening, control of the Nevada Senate now rests comfortably in the hands of the Democrats. What that ultimately means remains to be seen, but Obama now definitely has Nevada on his side when it comes time to implement those ideas he so eloquently presented during the election. Can you say excited?
