Normally we reserve this space to lambaste a politician, law, the latest hypocrisy, what have you. But we dedicate it this week to one of the most intelligent, most gracious, most humble guys we ever had the pleasure of quoting ad nauseam in the pages of Weekly. UNLV’s Keith Schwer was a class act from top to bottom, a font of knowledge whose depths we plumbed time and time again. He reminded us of Hal Rothman, another UNLV one-man think tank who was all too giving of his time and knowledge to us unwashed media masses. And like Rothman, Schwer was taken too soon. We wish the best for his family, and can only hope another like him comes along ... soon.
