Sue Lowden’s chickens-for-health-care comments fell right into the laps of pundits, talk show hosts and Lowden opponents, who turned the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate into a national joke.

More than a month later, the ribbing continues. Some say the chicken thing has gone too far, and maybe it has. But the reaction videos (and there are many on YouTube) keep coming. The latest video, released by ProgressNow Nevada, parodies the Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer,” swapping original lyrics for phrases referencing chickens, surgeries and barter along with video montages of the local and national chicken debacle media coverage. It’s a riot. But can it top the artistry of this hip-hoppy club music chicken mix? I think not.
