A few weeks ago I was lounging at the Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard Pool when I heard something like the Westminster Chimes coming from Bellagio next door—something I had never heard before (and I’m a Vegas native and Strip frequenter). Basically, I thought I was going insane. After a little investigation, MGM Resorts confirmed that the hotel does, in fact, have bells ringing every hour, not from the bell tower-like structure atop the casino, but from its marquee. Sanity restored.
