Perhaps it’s time to update the popular Sin City catchphrase to “What happens on the way to Vegas …” Earlier this month, an unidentified British woman flying to McCarran (with her parents, no less) had to be handcuffed after she began screaming at the crew for bursting in on her having extremely loud sex in the plane’s bathroom. Amazingly, she was let off with just a warning, but other Vegas-bound troublemakers haven’t been so lucky:

• On June 21, 2013, a couple flying from Oregon to Las Vegas were arrested after other passengers reportedly saw them, uh, orally pleasuring each other while still in their seats. Christopher Martin, 44, and Jessica Stroble, 33, pled guilty in absentia to a federal misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, and were each fined $250. “I have lost my job, my reputation and damaged the legacy I had worked 10 years to nurture and grow. I will learn from this and move on to the next chapter in my life,” Martin said in a written statement. Ouch.

• On August 20, 2009, Darius Chappille, 21, was arrested on a flight from Oakland to Las Vegas after he allegedly exposed himself to a woman, punched her, took off all his clothes and then grappled with crew members as they subdued him. Authorities later discovered Chappille had an outstanding warrant for drug-related offenses in Missouri. We’re certainly shocked.
