The Huntridge is asking for your help.

Huntridge Revival, LLC, the group trying to renovate and reopen the historic Downtown building, has sent out on invite urging supporters to show up for today's 3 p.m. meeting in City Hall's Council Chambers, where the Las Vegas Centennial Commission will weigh a request for a $1 million commitment by the City of Las Vegas.

Led by Downtown entrepreneur Michael Cornthwaite and Downtown Project's Joey Vanas, Huntridge Revival, LLC raised $207,355 for its preservation efforts by way of an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign last summer. Last week, Cornthwaite told the Weekly a no vote on the City's $1 million contribution would "decrease the chance of success."
