Enjoy music by local reggae rockers HaleAmanO and feel good about your philanthropic self—proceeds benefit New Vista, an organization devoted to bettering the lives of the intellectually challenged. Downtown Throwdown at Beauty Bar The hipster hangout presents Volume 2 of its EDM bash devoted to the drum and bass, dubstep, electro and moombahton genres Saturday night. Enjoy live performances by Chasing Kings and Moth & The Flame, along with beats by DJs TeenWolf, Midnight Affair and more. And should all the dancing rev up your appetite, food truck fare won’t be far away with Vegas StrEATs just around the corner from Beauty Bar’s door. March 10, doors at 9 p.m., $5.

Breathe Carolina at Pure The electronic rock duo’s single “Blackout” peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 32, and chances are you’ve heard it on the airwaves. They’ll perform the radio favorite Saturday night, with sound also supplied by resident DJs Slip, Cyberkid and Joey Mazzola. March 10, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Jesse Metcalfe at Gallery This summer, the Desperate Housewives actor will star in Dallas, the continuation of the classic drama series of the same name. 50 Cent at Tao The Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show is here, bringing with it its Platinum Parties.
