HEAR

Cee Lo and Friends Before he goes full Loberace in February, Cee Lo channels Santa at this early holiday concert benefitting Keep Memory Alive. If the big man plays Saint Nick, does that make Rod Stewart and The Muppets his reindeer? October 10, 8 p.m., $114-$159, Planet Hollywood.

Peter Gabriel If you were around in the ’80s, you’ve probably already got tickets to see the semi-reclusive British singer. If not, listen to So—the 1986 album he’s playing in its entirety this tour—then scoop up some seats. October 5, 8 p.m., $62-$239, Planet Hollywood.

Metric The peppy Canadian indie-rockers canceled a 2010 Vegas visit, so here’s your chance to see sometime Broken Social Scener Emily Haines do her thing. With Half Moon Run, October 6, 6 p.m., $30, House of Blues.

GO

Clippers vs. Nuggets Since the Lakers (in town October 19) are trying to ruin basketball by acquiring Steve Nash and Dwight Howard, maybe Las Vegas should consider adopting the Clippers as its NBA surrogate. Think about it. October 6, 7:30 p.m., $25-$500, Mandalay Bay.

Blue Man Group re-launch They’re still blue, but the new show at the Monte Carlo promises to be even more over-the-top. Want proof? Try the “Percussipede, a musical centipede of percussion instruments, musicians, robots and puppets.” October 10 opening show, 7 p.m., $75-$150.

SEE

PollyGrind’s Zombiepalooza Before the underground film fest kicks into gear next week, catch a day of zombie-related indie productions, including three feature films and numerous shorts, all hosted by the folks from the online Zombie Radio Show. October 6, 2-9 p.m., free (suggested canned goods donation), Theatre 7, pollygrind.com.

EAT

Taste of Tao Tao Beach’s rooftop pool venue will be packed with tasty samples celebrating Tao’s various Asian cuisines, plus beer, sake, wine and live entertainment. Ticket sales benefit Three Square. October 4, 7 p.m., $75-$100.

Henderson Cowboy BBQ If the “VIP Rib Village” doesn’t sell you, maybe the carnival rides, crafts, live music and dancing will. But really, who’s not excited about a VIP Rib Village? October 5-7, 11 a.m., free entry.
