Former Wynn Director of Nightlife Entertainment Zee Zandi reports that she has joined ATM Artists, the management/marketing company owned by EDM power player (and Light/Daylight Music and Marketing Director) Amy Thomson. Zandi, one of the few local nightlife figures of the megaclub era who booked electronic music DJs before it was cool (or profitable) to do so, is now ATM’s Vice President of Brand Development and Entertainment.

We reported on GBDC's October 19 return last month, but we can only speculate on what kind of insanity the Ghostbar day-party has up its sleeves with recently announced event names like “Pre Thanksgiving Edition—Tryptophan Twerk Off,” “Here Kitty Kitty” and “That’s an Ugly Sweater, but It Looks Good on You.”

The only thing that beats sipping on a good cocktail is looking damn fine doing it, or so suggests Sipping Society’s Fall Cocktail Collection, which will showcase fashion, mixology, highbrow libations and cuisine at Downtown’s Keep Memory Alive Event Center on October 19. “Modern Mixologist” Tony Abou-Ganim will showcase new creations along with some of his Vegas peers. Tickets are $55-$100.

Lavo relaunches its Saturday Champagne Party Brunch on October 19 and kicks off the new Proper Brunch on Sunday, October 20. In other Tao Group news, the final edition of LGBT promoter Eduardo Cordova’s gay Sunday party Freedom takes place October 6 at Marquee. Cordova will continue the Confidential Wednesdays soiree downstairs at Bond.

Following the Bite of Las Vegas festival last Saturday, members of One Republic, Parachute and Better Than Ezra partied in Chateau’s VIP section. Meanwhile over at Hard Rock Hotel, Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee traded drums for decks at Body English and Rehab last weekend, joining DJ Aero. Rehab will be closing out the 2013 pool club season on October 13 with a performance by Sean Kingston.
