True fact: The original Rat Pack was actor Humphrey Bogart’s crew. Lauren Bacall bestowed the “Rat Pack” name on them after a wild Vegas trip. But the version of the Pack we now know best—Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop—not only defined Vegas lounge entertainment with its music and comedy but had a hand in desegregating our town.
