Shamefaced Confessions

Chuck Twardy

Let's see. I've read The Lord of the Rings twice in adulthood. Any World War II flick, I'm right there with Kilroy; I've seen Where Eagles Dare easily 20 times, although never from beginning to end. I can't help it, I like watercolors—flowers, sailboats, sunsets, you name it. I've seen almost every episode of Friends and Frasier. If I can read only one part of a newspaper, it will be the comics. I read them every day, and consider it a Vegas blessing that I get to do so twice a day. Not only do I listen to oldies stations in the car, I crank up the volume for "Roll with the Changes" or "More than a Feeling."

And for years, I've told people my first rock concert was Rod Stewart and the Faces, but actually it was Three Dog Night.

There. I feel better.
