THE DREAM ZONE

with Lauri Quinn Loewenberg

I've had the "actor's nightmare" several times. I find out that I'm in a stage play. I know I have a supporting role but have no clue what my lines are and I feel embarrassed and that I'm going to let the cast down if I don't get on the ball quick. By the time my scene comes up the dream usually ends.

Marianne, 29, Boston, MA

Lauri: You get this dream whenever you are feeling the pressure to "perform" in waking life. Notice how you have a supporting role ... and not the lead. This is a good indication you put pressure on yourself to play a supportive role in real life, such as being supportive to family or friends or perhaps even at work where you may not be heading up a project but are an important part of it. Where in real life do you have people counting on you, just like your cast members are counting on you in your dream life? That would be precisely what this dream is about. These dreams are the way you are telling yourself that you must be prepared so you can get the full appreciation—or standing ovation—you deserve.

Marianne replies: I'm surprised by your interpretation because I'm a single parent with a busy two-year-old boy who keeps me on my toes. I also work as a case coordinator in a group residence for mentally ill males where I support my clients and my supervisors. Having these two roles in my life leads me to kind of run around behind the scenes. Very interesting analysis. Thank you again! I'm fascinated in how this dream in particular had a connection to my daily life.

Fascinating Dream Fact: Be sure to write down your dreams as soon as you wake up in the morning. Five minutes after the end of a dream, half the content is forgotten. After 10 minutes, 90 percent is lost.

Eclipses bring change. The new moon follows the eclipse. Make your wish and set a goal for the month. The sun joins Mars and Mercury in Libra on Saturday. With three planets in the daily work section of your chart, opportunities could flow your way within the next few weeks. Yes indeed, these planets will be in good aspect with Saturn, who provides structure, and Pluto, the big business guy.

GEMINI

Don't talk about business or money issues until Wednesday. Now remember, little kitty, Virgos will feel the eclipse the most. Eclipses bring a change. Could be personal or worldwide. On Wednesday, the moon moves into sister fire sign Sagittarius. This should encourage a little business talk and some entertainment.

VIRGO
(Aug. 22-Sept. 22) Okay, dear little maiden, your sign is host to the solar eclipse at 7:41 a.m. EDT on Friday at 29 degrees of Virgo. You later-born Virgos who will be celebrating your birthdays before the new moon on Friday will feel the eclipse the most. Eclipses bring change. Money can come to you from earned income, insurance, estate or taxes, or, in the case of married Virgos, through a spouse. Watch your spending. Chances are many of you have already made large purchases. Now you may decide to take a look at your finances. An eclipse can affect you a month before the event and a month afterward. If nothing occurs, then look each month on the date of the eclipse. This is the last eclipse for 2006.
