Las Vegas myths: true or false?

Rick Stoeckel

1. Everyone lives in hotel-casinos.

False. Most of us actually live in motel-strip clubs or nightclub-all-you-can-eat buffets.

2. Prostitution is legal.

False. Sorry, it isn't legal. I found that out the hard way when I asked a police officer if he wanted a piece of this action for only 10 bucks, and I pointed at my crotch so he knew what I meant.

3. Las Vegas is running out of water.

False. I water my lawn for hours a day. I leave the sink water running all night for absolutely no reason. I have yet to run out of water.

4. Las Vegas is full of millionaires.

False. While there are a few millionaires living in Las Vegas, the city is mostly composed of your average, everyday billionaires and trillionaires.
