THE DREAM ZONE

with Lauri Quinn Loewenberg

I dreamed I was in a small church on top of a hill. An army of men marched toward the hill. I ran toward them when suddenly I found myself back in the church by a baptismal font. The priest was standing, wearing his vestments. Suddenly horns started to grow out of his head! This also happened to the other people in the church. Then I heard a voice say to me, "Beware of false prophets."

– Norma, 62, Kennewick, WA

Lauri: This suggests you have reached a certain spiritual “height” (the hill). But the army indicates there is a conflict with this spiritual awareness. You run toward them because you are ready to battle, to fight for what you believe. You find yourself back in the church because you have gone back and forth on this issue, fighting it one moment and then accepting it the next. The priest sprouts horns because you are concerned something may not be what it seems. Has someone lied to you? It’s warning you not to go any further with something.

Norma replies: You’re right. Two years ago I bought a book on angels. My interest just soared. I have visions of my guardian angel; I have spoken to him and I feel his presence every day. But then I read a book by a church man, which made me uncomfortable. It said angels of God did not come calling. He said these angels were the devil’s angels. This played on my mind so much that I left the book unfinished.

ARIES
(March 20-April 20)

With such a busy schedule last week, now it’s time to communicate. Yes indeed, the sun sits down with Mercury today. As the week moves ahead, you will notice less miscommunication. Venus has entered your sign and other planets will follow. New friends will enter your life. Venus will help you out. Mars, your ruling planet, enters Aquarius this week. Mars is action and energy, which opens the gates to meet with groups, clubs and organizations. Many of your old friends have surprised you. Mercury retrogrades back into the sign of Aquarius. Unique and unusual ideas begin to surface this week. Listen to your inner child. Wait until next week for a new beginning.

TAURUS
(April 20-May 21)

I know, little bull, you feel the need to get out of the bullpen. Wait until next week before you begin any new projects. Avoid conversations with people in authority this week. Get a little more grounded. A rare planetary aspect occurs on Wednesday. This is not personal. It is a business aspect. A sudden opportunity is on the horizon. Listen to your dreams. Work behind the scenes this week. Make your wish and set a monthly goal now. Do not argue with other bulls this week. Wait until next week to make career or financial changes. Remember, Mercury is retrograde. Remain flexible.

GEMINI
(May 21-June 21)

Your Pisces friends want to chat this week. Go ahead. Please remember, Mercury is retrograde, and do not forget birthday-minded Pisces. Mars enters Aquarius this week, and you may make plans for long-distance travel. Share your higher knowledge. You are an air sign with great ideas. Now, dear Gemini, this is not a good time to sign contracts. Keep a keen eye on things. If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Now your social life could become a little more interesting. Venus entered that section of your chart. Make your monthly wish and set a goal.

CANCER
(June 21-July 22)

Your hard work begins to pay off, little crab, and social events become quite pleasant. Venus, the planet of love and money, has entered the career department of your chart. Mercury remains retrograde. Not a good time to enter into any contracts. You may feel a little anxious later this week. Make your wish and set a monthly goal. Now be wary of becoming financially involved with others. Good news from people in authority. Your daily work is noticed as the week winds down. Relax and build sandcastles.

LEO

So you ran into a little miscommunication over the past week, little kitty. Mercury retrograde. You may notice everything easing up a bit this week. Full moon occurs next week along with a lunar eclipse. Okay, go ahead and make your wish and set a monthly goal this week. Venus has moved into fellow fire sign Aries. Use this time to chat with your partners; if you are single, talk with your banker. Do not keep any secrets. Work on your budget as well as your chores.

VIRGO
(Aug. 23-Sept. 23)

You have been spending time working on pre-existing projects while Mercury is retrograde. Go ahead and continue working on your projects. While you are busy detailing and analyzing, remember to make a wish and set a goal or two before the full moon arrives next week. It is not wise to argue with a female on Saturday. On Sunday, when Mars travels into Aquarius, action lands in your house of relationships. As the week winds down, all your hard work pays off. Now you know what’s working and what’s not. Talk about your dreams and secrets in the daily work department. Work demands your attention this week.

This is your week to get down to work. Finish all your old projects. Look at your finances. Make your wish and set a goal. Wednesday brings a very rare business aspect that occurs only every 36 years. This week, review and revise some of your ideas. Yes indeed, Mr. Detective, notice what you dig up this week, and work slowly. As the week moves on, you may notice less and less miscommunication. Venus moves into your space of daily work. The moon travels into sister water sign Cancer on Monday. You probably feel a little anxious as you make decisions this week.

You may notice the light a little brighter on the mountaintop. This week your agenda is business, business, business. Venus’ move into Aries brings love to the home front. Saturn, your ruling planet, gets into an opposition with Neptune as the week winds down. Talk with others. This is a business aspect that occurs only once every 36 years.

AQUARIUS
(Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

The birthday party is over, but you still have time to make your wish and set your goal for the next year. I know some of you little geniuses have already made money this month. Now bring in caution. You need to be careful before you sign your name. Mars enters your sign, and again, action and energy take center stage. Opportunities could flow your way. Venus moves into Aries. Yes indeed, this is the time to communicate with siblings, family and your neighbors.

PISCES
(Feb. 18-March 20)

Happy birthday, little Pisces. Now make your birthday wish—in fact, you may want to write down a few of your wishes. Set your goal for the year and notice what you accomplished this year. Mercury remains retrograde. As the week moves on, you may notice a little less miscommunication. Yes indeed, you may have located a few lost objects. Now I hope you locked up your credit cards. Mercury retrograde is not the time to buy new computers, phones, autos, etc. Though you may have received a few surprises this month, you may experience more.
