Dog bites supplements; man follows suit

Think processed human foods are rough on the ol’ colon?

Try pet foods, which tend to use the leftover bodily delights from animals that won’t pass muster to go in your pot pie.

The pet food disaster (tainted food killing animals everywhere) has shed some light on the industry of late, but people like locals Stan Stansbury and his brother, Thomas, have been offering healthy supplements for pets since 1999. Nzymes.com (which is a division of Biopet Inc.) focuses on the holistic health of pets by using natural, raw ingredients and enzymes to help the body absorb nutrients.

“There’s so much related to the difference between good food, good nutrients and how the body uses those and bad foods and how the body continues to weaken,” says Stan, whose background is in nutrition.

Look at the heart-wrenching pictures of sick pups and kitties on the Nzymes website and you’ll see what a cruel, sick world it is. Until hope is restored by the pictures following the disfigured pictures, in which the same animals have returned to health after their diets are changed to the non-disfiguring, Nyzmes choice.

And though there are no before and after pictures of the pets’ owners, they’re a target of Nzymes.com, too.

“We decided to start on pets, but the people forced us to bring out the human version of the products.

“Because people will do anything for their pets, but they rarely will take care of themselves,” says Stan.

“So we try to take care of both of them with the same step.” –Kate Silver
