Cherry-poppin’ daddies (er, mommies?)

Julie Seabaugh

Everyone always remembers their first time: the clothes, the music that was playing, the way the audience was staring so intently. So it will be for contestants entering What a Drag: A Charity Drag Show, an evening of so-bad-they’re-awesome performances by cross-dressing virgins hosted by Ms. Kitty Litter and featuring succinctly named special guest judge Empress Reign X Tago Lafemme of the Imperial Royal Sovereign Court of the Desert Empire. Awards will be given for best and worst performances, as well as for the first to fall in heels. And not only do all proceeds benefit the Vegas Mpowerment Project, but pre-sale tickets (available at The Center) include one raffle ticket for prizes including a Zumanity VIP package.

April 11, 8 p.m., $11. The Onyx Theatre, 733-9800.
