Just thinking about how much wine has been consumed in 34 years of UNLVino is enough to make our heads spin. Heck, last year alone, some 2,900 bottles were poured, from more than 750 wineries, to an estimated crowd of 6,000.

On Saturday, the annual Grand Tasting event—jointly hosted by UNLV’s College of Hotel Administration and Southern Wine & Spirits, with proceeds going toward UNLV scholarships and student activities—celebrates its 35th anniversary with, well, many, many toasts, no doubt. Don’t even think about showing up on an empty stomach.
