J. Son—News, all naked, all the time

Hometown: Syracuse, NY

Age: 27

Profession: Host/creator, NakedBoyNews.com and RealNakedNews.com (launching May)

Profile: Last May, longtime Vegas blogger and comedian J. Son (pronounced “Jay-dot-sun”), originally Jason Dinant, marshaled his talents to escape the celebrity gossip biz and express his love for political commentary. The CNN.com iReport Superstar now does his Monday “Naked Weekend Wrap-up” and Friday’s “Naked Week in Review” entirely in the buff, which has garnered him much attention.

Why I Do What I Do: Through his site, J. Son proudly promotes what he calls “flag-waving,” that is, being yourself: “It’s about being who you are and living your life naked, not hiding behind a mask or being somebody that you’re not.” J. Son also notes that he’s color-blind and can’t dress himself to save himself.

Personal Tidbit: Family guy J. Son says he has nothing but compassion and love for people who have been rejected by their families for waving their own personal flags. “Sometimes families are those which you create and not those that are created for you.” J. Son emcees ThurstDaze Thursdays at Krave and will promote Pride Week in Vegas May 1 and 2 and in New York in June.

What I’m listening to: “Tomorrow,” by Sean Kingston

Latest Accomplishment: Managed to get booted from Facebook for being, he says, “a little too naked.” Facebook has not responded to J. Son’s requests for an interview, though they frequently peruse his site …

Motto: “Wave your flag!”
