Precious little work was being done poolside Friday at the season launch of Ditch Fridays at the Palms Pool & Bungalows, unless of course you count oiling up your hot neighbor with tan accelerator, or applying sunscreen to a new tattoo. Despite the grayish weather, a good time was had by all 2,500 people, who the Weekly must presume filled out proper time-off request forms in accordance with their respective companies’ policies to be there on a Friday afternoon, drinking margaritas in one-yard increments. Or, more likely, they just ditched, as the party’s name would suggest they do. Meanwhile, on the Garduño’s patio overlooking this poolside madness, Team Hangover in its entirety was hard at work waking up, applying margaritas to its own hangovers and guessing the whereabouts of the nine Playmate hosts.
