Moquin it work: The girls of summer—the migration continues

Kalika Moquin is leaving Bare for The Bank and bikinis for party dresses and high heels.

After three years at Bare Pool Lounge, marketing director Kalika Moquin is hanging up her bikini and heading for dry land to become The Bank nightclub’s marketing director. “It’s like the same feeling you have when you graduate high school and move on to college,” says the Missoula, Mont. native, “very bittersweet.”

Beyond the Weekly
Light Group

Moquin has been an ever-present face (and body) at the Light Group’s adult pool at the Mirage, honoring local industry members with Asset Thursdays and doling out the Sunday poolside barbeque. “I'll miss working in such a beautiful venue: the daytime hours, weather, but most of all the Bare customers and locals who have become like family. Bare is such a fun place, and yes, it has been the love of my life for the past three years.”

That being said, the former cocktail server who arrived in Vegas in 2004 is pumped to once again be taking on the night at The Bank, “a venue that I love equally as much,” says Moquin. “I’m very excited for the opportunities and experience (and of course the parties) that lie ahead.”
