Wave your hands in the air, but don’t spill that ‘20s-era beverage. Snoop will be watching when he brings his cabaret vibe to Tao.

When we heard Snoop Dogg was moving to Las Vegas, theories about how his badassity would affect the scene flew. And today, we have a solid answer from nightlife juggernaut Tao, which is partnering with the multiplatinum, multitalented artist on a six-night residency that sounds like a dream sequence in a Coen brothers movie.

Launching May 3, the Snoopadelic Cabaret—named for Snoop’s DJ handle—will have the look and feel of a 1920s-style speakeasy, lorded over by the man himself. As master of ceremonies, Snoop will headline each night, mixing live performances of his hits with DJ sets. Roaring Twenties-inspired specialty acts and dance numbers will build the experience, complete with period costumes and a cocktail menu echoing the era.

“I’m excited to partner with the TAO team for these special classy events. This summer is going to be epic and I can’t wait to give Vegas that real Snoopadelic Cabaret vibe,” Snoop said in today’s news release.

Tao advises guests to get in the Snoopadelic spirit and “dress classy.” So start planning your outfits now for the May 3 kickoff. The second event is set for May 25, with additional dates to be announced throughout summer and fall. As Snoop’s bio says, he has proven his “unwavering relevance” in the entertainment world, and this is your chance to get close to the heat.
