Natalia Barulich and Esther Anaya grew up among the arts, but it was their love of electronic music that brought them together as DJs. Known collectively as Natalia & Esther, they’ve played to audiences all over the world, from Mexico to Dubai to, yes, Las Vegas.

Previously managed by longtime American Idol judge Randy Jackson—and once known as Atmsphre—the duo has been steadily climbing the DJ circuit. Barulich, a professional ballerina-turned-model, and Anaya, a violinist, spent years honing their skills in order to deliver a performance that stays memorable.

These days, Anaya’s violin plays a key role in Natalia & Esther’s sound and image, but it’s the duo’s shared passion for live music that has helped it land gigs, like an opening slot on Maluma’s 2018 Europe tour. (Of course, it didn’t hurt that Barulich also happens to be the Latin trap star’s girlfriend.)

As DJs, the ladies are no strangers to the Strip. Head to the pair’s YouTube channel to watch clips of them getting ready in their Vegas hotel room, fielding questions and performing at festivals like 2018’s Baja Beach Festival.

The duo will perform at Mama Rabbit’s grand opening weekend inside Park MGM September 14 at 5 p.m. (and again at the resort’s nightclub, on the Record, at 10:30 p.m.). Get acquainted with the sounds of Natalia & Esther while you explore the 4,400-square-foot Mama Rabbit and order drinks from the bar, curated by mezcalera Bricia Lopez. You can peruse the mezcal and tequila menu, opt for tableside margarita service ($325 for four or $625 for eight) or find bliss in the Daisy de Madre (tequila, orange cordial, fresh lime, salt).

No matter how you choose to celebrate, Natalia & Esther are ready to set the vibe.

Natalia & Esther September 14, 5 p.m., free entry. Mama Rabbit, drinkmamarabbitlv.com.
