Hot Spots: Drazpa at Body English, National Finals Rodeo afterparties and more

Straight outta New York: It’s Drazpa, spinning Friday night at Body English.

InstaGLAM at The Market LV The collection of boutiques at Tivoli Village presents an evening of philanthropy, with proceeds benefiting the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada. Your ticket buys you two cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, opportunities to win sweet raffle prizes and a front seat for the night’s entertainment—mucho motivation not to be a Scrooge this holiday season. December 5, 6-8 p.m., $35 in advance, $40 at the door.

NFR afterparty at Gold Coast There’s no shortage of drunken revelry to be had in conjunction with the National Finals Rodeo, taking place December 5-14. Tourist spots like the Mirage (both its Race and Sports Book and Rhumbar), Gilley’s, the Rockhouse and PBR Rock Bar will feature promotions all week—as will the Strip-adjacent Gold Coast, hosting its awesomely named Buck ’N Ball every night of the rodeo and offering drink specials and live entertainment. December 5-14, 8 p.m., free.

Drazpa at Body English Few local DJs can boast a gig itinerary that includes both Body English and New York City’s most famous megaclub. Which is why Staten Island native and former Ghostbar resident Drazpa is, as the kids say, the business. Help him warm up for his Pacha NYC performances by checking out this afterhours set, where he’ll cure your vocal EDM fatigue with his blend of house and techno. December 6, doors at 10:30 p.m., $20 men, $10 women.

Vegas Cocktail Experience at the View Fifteen local mixologists converge on the top-of-the-Palms hangout Friday night to battle with vodka, lime and ginger beer—and it’s up to you to declare the best Moscow Mule. Imbibe and cast your three votes, then head upstairs for an afterparty at Moon. Planned pre-partying? Sign us up. December 6, 7 p.m., $30 pre-sale, $35 at the door.

Winter Wonderland Toy Drive at Minus5 If you’ve ever been curious about the Minus5 ice bars, where you’re asked to dress like an Eskimo to enjoy freezing temps and tipples, here’s a cheap and charitable impetus. The Monte Carlo location will collect donations for Toys for Tots on Tuesday, and each toy gets the donor a two-for-one entrance pass. If whiskey doesn’t offset the bar chill, your warmhearted gesture will. December 10, toys collected 11 a.m.-9 p.m., $17.

Bleach at Beauty Bar Organizers call this new event Bleach because they seek to provide a “purifying audio experience.” That means U.K. dubstep over the more commercial version—see British headliner N-Type—as well as less-familiar bass music styles and other experimental sounds. The most interesting aspect of Bleach, though, is the adjoining RSVP-only producer session for those interested in making, releasing and promoting music, with N-Type and part-time Vegas resident Jesse Saunders joining the collaborative prologue. December 10, producer session 8 p.m., DJ performances 9:30 p.m., $10.

Belgian Beer Dinner at the Pub From Trappists to Abbeys, Belgium has a lock on good beer. Don’t know too much about it? Enter Monte Carlo’s beer bar, as the Pub puts on a five-course pairing dinner with InBev Wednesday night. The parent company owns popular brands like Stella Artois, Hoegaarden and Leffe, and a brewery representative will be on-site to inform hop heads about each selection. Go get your learn—and drink—on! December 11, 6:30 p.m., $65.

Neon Flow Reloaded XXXmas at Crazy Horse III Wednesday’s Neon Flow afterhours bash doubles as CH3’s annual Reloaded party. Sit on Santa’s throne with his sexy helpers (photo ops!), rage to DJ Five’s beats and be sure to stick around to watch it “snow” inside the gentlemen’s club. Oh, and about the “reloaded” part—did we mention locals score $50 CH3 gift cards? That’s a lot of well cocktails. December 11, 2 a.m., free ($30 if arriving by taxi or limo).
