Sage the Gemini at Tao Wiggle like you’re “trying to make your ass fall off” Thursday night, when the hip-hop artist takes the mic during the Venetian nightspot’s weekly Worship industry bash. Check out his hit single, “Gas Pedal,” before hitting the dancefloor. In the booth: DJ Justincredible. November 7, doors at 10 p.m., $20 men, $10 women.

Norman Doray and Skylar Grey at Surrender French EDM beatmeister Norman Doray returns for another residency gig at the Encore nightclub, with a special performance planned by vocalist Skylar Grey. Don’t know the name? You’ve definitely heard her on Dr. Dre and Eminem’s hit “I Need a Doctor.” November 8, doors at 10:30 p.m., $32 men, $22 women.

Carlo Lio at Artisan His sound is one for the morning owls. Those exhausted by the peaks and valleys of a post-midnight set can find some comfort in the steady beats and deep grooves—all subtly adorned—of Canadian house producer/DJ Carlo Lio, who headlines this edition of Artisan’s afterhours event Violet Reign. November 9, doors at 10 p.m., $10 men after 1 a.m., women and locals free.

Lee’s Wine Experience at LVH If you’re an oenophile who has been to Lee’s Discount Liquor, you know purchase decisions come difficultly. Simplify your next trip by heading to LVH this weekend, as more than 1,000 wines from around the globe will be available for your sip-and-spit enjoyment. Lee’s is also bringing a barrage of craft brews and artisanal spirits, including an entire section devoted to traditional Korean booze. Small bites and live music complement the sample-fest. November 9, 3-8 p.m., $50 advance, $60 at the door.

Otto Knows at Light You know Otto Knows. He’s the Swedish beatslanger who brought Imogen Heap’s vocoder hit “Hide and Seek” to dancefloors in 2010. And he co-produced and co-wrote Britney Spears’ current smash “Work Bitch” with Will.i.Am and Sebastian Ingrosso. Dude’s earned the right to headline a megaclub on a Saturday night, no? November 9, doors at 10 p.m., $40 men, $20 women.

Brew’s Best Beer Fest at Lake Las Vegas Consider yourself more a hophead than a wino? Then take in a day of craft brews lakeside at the MonteLago Village this Saturday, as nonprofit New Vista’s biannual beer festival will feature more than 20 craft breweries pouring their products. The lineup includes locals Joseph James, Big Dog’s and Ellis Island, as well as national standouts Lagunitas, Green Flash and Left Coast. November 9, 2-6 p.m. (1-6 p.m. VIP), $25 advance, $30 at the door, $40 VIP.

Salva at XS The Wynn dance emporium must’ve liked SoCal-based electronic music guru Salva’s opening set for Max Vangeli back in August, as the club has given him his own headlining, weekend-stretching bash. He’s remixed Kanye, played Detroit Electronic Music Festival and introduced new DJs on his BBC Radio 1 show. Now go introduce your smiling, dance-happy face to him. November 10, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Danny Brown and A-Trak at 1 Oak How does 1 Oak’s monthly industry party justify calling itself “Supacalafrajalisticexpiala Dope Sh!*” without being laughed off the calendar? It books rapper Danny Brown—fresh from his performance at Life Is Beautiful—and heralded DJ A-Trak. You see, parties with ridiculous lineups need ridiculous names. November 12, doors at 10:30 p.m., $40 men, $30 women.
