Redman and Method Man at Chateau Hip-hop’s besties aren’t likely to perform, but there are few club host candidates more qualified to crank up a crowd than former Def Squad member Redman and active Wu-Tang Clan associate Method Man. And hey, the fact that any Wu representative would be lording over a mainstream Strip club underscores the evolution of Las Vegas nightlife. September 20, 10:30 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, local women free.

Hookah Hookup at The View Looking for a nightlife alternative? Puff, puff, pass at Palms, as the tower-topping rec room adds hookah to its amenities Friday night. Smoke some shisha, play some board games and score half off all drinks from 8 to 11 p.m. In the booth: DJ Behfar, spinning international tunes. September 20, doors at 8 p.m., $20 men, ladies free, men free before 11 p.m.

Fatboy Slim at Light First he loved us. Then he dismissed us. But the man born Norman Cook loves us once again. After blanketing early summer with Vegas appearances that re-endeared the “Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat” creator to our club scene, he’s back to kick off fall, making his Light debut this weekend with versatile beat-slanger Don Diablo in tow. September 20, 10 p.m., $40 men, $20 women.

The Buccaneers Ball at Artifice Well, shiver our timbers, Talk Like a Pirate Day is this Friday! Don’t be a scallywag—head to Artifice and score some booty during the party’s raffles or dress in your Seven Seas best to win $100 in the evening’s pirate costume contest. The Three Square Food Bank benefit also includes live music and Sailor Jerry drink specials (take our advice: avoid getting three sheets to the wind). September 20, 9:30 p.m., $5 optional donation.

Erick Morillo at Marquee The longtime Tao Group resident had an entirely forgettable first half of 2013, bottoming out during a June gig in Massachusetts where he had to vacate the DJ booth mid-performance. However, the veteran househead blamed a divorce and the subsequent self-medication, and maintains he’s sober and back on track. This will be his first Vegas gig since playing the Cosmo club in April. September 20, 9 p.m., $50 men, $20 women.

Downtown Brew Festival at Clark County Government Center Amphitheater Motley Brews’ beer bash returns to the CCGC’s outdoors space for an evening of ale-tasting. The brew lineup is solid, with local representation from Big Dog’s and Joseph James, along with regional and national standouts such as Stone, Dogfish Head and Deschutes. Hungry? The fest also includes beer bites from local restos and food trucks. September 21, 5-10 p.m., $35-$75 ($20 for designated driver tickets).

Miguel at Tao The R&B artist’s sophomore Kaleidoscope Dream album scored him four Grammy nods, including a Best R&B Song win for the hit single “Adorn.” After crooning to the crowd at the iHeartRadio Festival, Miguel hosts an after-fest party at the Venetian nightspot. September 21, 10 p.m., $40 men, $20 women.

Deniz Koyu AT XS We doubt the Turkish producer/DJ’s remix of Digitalism’s “Zdarlight” was played by the German duo last weekend at Body English. So here’s a proper Vegas introduction to the electro house rising star, touted by several EDM heavies—and now XS—as the next big thing. September 23, 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.
