Clear The Shelters Day
The annual "Clear the Shelters Day" is held at the Animal Foundation's GreenGale Campus, 655 N. Mojave Rd., in Las Vegas Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019. Adoption fees were waived for the annual one-day event, part of a national effort to connect shelter pets with new homes. The PetSmart Charities Everyday Adoption Center in Henderson also participated in the event. A record 335 dogs and cats were adopted from the two locations.
