Legendary Hall of Famer John Madden donated his original "Madden Cruiser I" to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018. The original Greyhound bus was converted in the "Madden Cruiser I" in 1987. Madden transitioned from his Hall of Fame coaching career into what became an iconic broadcasting career and decided he no longer wanted to fly. He opted to travel long distances by train until it became inconvenient and decided a bus would be the perfect alternative. The bus logged 80,000 miles annually, transporting Madden to his broadcast gigs across the country. "Boats and campers always have small toilets and showers," said Madden, a former lineman. "I wanted a big shower and a very big bed."
