Man Earns $3,500 Eating Bagels
Geoffrey Esper of Oxford, Massachusetts, wins the Siegel Bagelmania's World Bagel Eating Championship in Las Vegas Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023. Esper earned $3,500 in prize money by eating 17 and 3/4 bagels in 8 minutes. The event, the first bagel-eating contest sanctioned by Major League Eating, was held to celebrate National Bagel Day.
