Afternoon tea at the Waldorf Astoria just added a Michelin-star pedigree to its menu, courtesy of Twist by Pierre Gagnaire, the French restaurant on property. The tea service, comprising 23 of the finest teas around the world and served on the 23rd floor with stunning views of the Strip, is one of the Waldorf’s signature offerings. Now guests can indulge in Twist’s Forbes Five Star Award-winning cuisine as well, the first time it has been available outside the restaurant.

Gagnaire is one of a handful of chefs who have received the coveted Michelin three-star rating for his eponymous restaurant in Paris, and in 2015 he was named best chef in the world by his peers.

The Twist-inspired menu includes tea sandwiches such as Truffle Croque (brioche and cream cheese) and Gougère (creamed egg, watercress and Parmesan craquelin); freshly baked signature scones with Devonshire clotted cream and homemade marmalades; and tea desserts such as Marshmallow Twist (blackberries and snow sugar dust) and PB Choux, with pate a choux, peanut butter cream and salted caramel glaze.

The menu will be featured until November 27 for $51 per person. Reservations are recommended.
