Hospital workers are tirelessly working to care for the most vulnerable among us. Founders Coffee, a coffee shop in the southwest, is founded on the philosophy of coffee with a cause, donating to a local charity each month with its Giving Drink of the Month special. April’s Giving Drink—turmeric milk with ginger, honey and turmeric called Doctor Golden—is a nod to the medical community. For every drink purchased, Founders will donate a cup of coffee to a hospital worker, dropping off to-go carafes on Fridays to hospitals around the Valley.

Founders Coffee’s drive-thru is open daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering a full menu of coffees, toasts, acai bowl and pastries. Delivery is also available via UberEats and Postmates. 6410 S Durango Drive #100, 702-916-4442.

Another local company, Ethel M Chocolates, is bringing a little sweetness with the help of social media. Tag frontline workers who are working in hospitals, pharmacies, grocery stores, restaurants offering delivery or pickup, trucking companies, sanitation companies and more on the company's Instagram or Facebook page, and the chocolatier will randomly select 200 people and thank them with a chocolate care package.

And if you want to thank these everyday heroes yourself, your good deed will go twice as far. From now until April 30, Ethel M Chocolates is donating $1 for every transaction to Three Square food bank.
