St. Patrick’s Day Party Guide 2015

Irish car bombs, pints of Guinness, green beer and shots of Jameson—Vegas has it all. From corned beef and cabbage to the best live Irish music, here’s our guide to the best places to get your shamrock on this St. Patrick’s Day:

O’Sheas block party kicks off at noon with a parade throughout the LINQ Promenade complete with bagpipers, leprechauns and stilt walkers, plus cornhole and an oversized beer pong table outside. Inside, the Garage Boys, the Hooligans and Darby O’Gill will perform throughout the day. At dusk, the High Roller will be lit in green, followed by another parade. New York-New York’s Celtic Feis festival sets up on the Brooklyn Bridge March 13-17 with Emerald Isle fare and drink specials from Nine Fine Irishmen. A $10 cover on March 17 (after noon) includes entry, as well as a pint of Guinness or a shot of Jameson. Or, head down to Tom’s Urban and party with Guinness models from 4 to 6 p.m., Tullamore Dew models from 6 to 8 p.m., and bagpipers from 4 to 9 p.m. The new grill sports a variety of Irish-inspired dishes like Pinch Me Corned Beef Sliders, the Shamrock Philly, Hooligan Jameson Wings and Paddy’s Pub Irish Tacos—plus Irish-themed libations including Limerick Apples, Irish Old Fashioneds and Emerald Isle Shooters. McMullan’s Irish Pub starts the party early on March 16 at 4 p.m. (midnight in Ireland). On the 17th, enjoy live music, bagpipers and traditional Irish dancing, plus a big-ass beer truck and a stage outside (with no cover!). The off-Strip pub’s indoor party begins at noon, with the outside festivities starting at 4 p.m. 4650 W. Tropicana Ave., 702-247-7000.

Rí Rá Las Vegas has expanded its St. Patty’s day celebration to a four-day festival beginning on March 14 at 6 p.m. and featuring music by The Black Donnellys and lucky menu items like corned beef and cabbage, Publican’s Reuben, fish and chips, Shepherd’s pie and beef and Guinness stew. Brendan’s Irish Pub celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a visit from the Jameson Girls, a performance by Killian’s Angels and $3 shots of Jameson, Crown Royal and Captain Morgan. March 17, 9 p.m., Orleans, 702-365-7111.

Celebrate the luck of the Irish at JC’s Irish Sports Pub. Festivities include live music by Holes & Hearts and Finnegan’s Wake, a complimentary Guinness toast and appearances by the Guinness Girls and Jameson Girls (and they’ll be giving out shots!). March 17, noon, $10 entry includes free beer and Jameson shot, JW Marriott.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with local alt-rockers Adelitas Way at Double Barrel Roadhouse. Specials include $3 soda bread, $8 bowls of traditional Irish lamb stew and $10 smoked corn beef and cabbage sliders, plus $20 green beer pitchers, $6 shamrock shots, $5 Jameson shots and $8 Murphy's Irish stouts. Honey Salt continues its Farm Table dinner series with an Irish-inspired edition featuring fare like shaved corned beef and horseradish, braised lamb shanks and oatmeal cream pudding with a Baileys Irish coffee.
