He’s been performing in Las Vegas for more than 15 years and a big part of Murray SawChuck’s success is his incredible ability to adapt. He started out with a passion for magic and illusion and while his talent and charisma took him a long way, he didn’t stop evolving and growing. At the same time he was starring at the Frontier on the Strip, he was driving back and forth to Los Angeles to take his turn at open mic night at the legendary Laugh Factory.

Now Murray the Magician performs most nights at the Laugh Factory in Las Vegas at the Tropicana and he’s our guest on the latest episode of All The Vegas. We talk with Murray about his recent pop-up gig at Brian Newman After Dark; how his act and image are inspired by old-school acts he grew up with; why Roy Horn only wore glasses offstage; how his four-year foray into YouTube has resulted in 1.6 million followers and more than a billion views; why magic is booming in Vegas these days; how he developed perfect chemistry with friend and guest performer Douglas “Lefty” Leferovich; and why you always have to play the room.

EPISODE 36: THE VEGAS YOU NEED

Murray’s pick is the one thing you can’t do anywhere else but in Las Vegas and that’s the Neon Museum.

Mark is hooked on the Magic Noodle, a small Chinese eatery where you can watch your meal being made right in front of your eyes.

Brock wants you to go to the early version of the Atomic Saloon Show because you might want to stay and party and drink all night long.
