We didn’t have Bright Eyes, Cap’ N Jazz and Real Estate Sunny Day headlining a new emo and indie fest on our fall Bingo card, but we’ll most certainly take it. The inaugural Best Friends Forever festival is slated to kick off at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center on October 11-13, and the bill is nothing short of a ’90s daydream.

The three-day event, organized by S&S Presents, the promoters behind the famed Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City, will feature performances by The Jesus Lizard, Unwound, The Dismemberment Plan, Fiddlehead, Mannequin Pussy, American Football, The Get Up Kids and close to 30 other acts.

An all-ages fest that will utilize two stages in the DLVEC, BFF is the latest addition to Vegas’ stacked festival season, which will see the return of Sick New World, Punk Rock Bowling, Electric Daisy Carnival and Lovers & Friends in the coming months.

Three-day passes range from $200 for GA to $300 for VIP (not including fees). Presale begins Wednesday, February 28 at 10 a.m. PT for fans who sign up at bestfriendsforeverfest.com and general tickets go on sale Thursday, February 29 at 10 a.m. PT.
