Dream Zone

Dream zone

I had the same dream three times in one night. It was nighttime, and I fell through the ice into freezing cold, dark water. My legs were in the water and torso above. My family was there and didn’t seem too concerned, but an employee was trying to pull me out. I remember thinking I had to stay calm and not struggle. I was very afraid, and my husband woke me at one point because I was fretting out loud. The dream ended with me still trying to get out. –Vickie, 45, Las Vegas, NV

Lauri: Either you have grown “cold” toward something, or someone has been “cold” towards you. It is only your legs that are in the icy water because some progress in your life has become “frozen.” Your family is not concerned, but an employee tries to pull you out. Very likely this is about work and not about family. Has anything come to a standstill at work? Has this employee come to your assistance recently? Are you in a seemingly cold situation that you want out of? The answer your dream is giving you comes at the end when you realize it is best not to struggle. In other words, whatever is going on in waking life, don’t fight it.

Vickie replies: Yes, work has been stuck lately, and I am having to give in on some projects that I didn’t want to, but have resigned myself to. This employee is always the “big helper” in everyday life, so that makes sense, too.
