I had the strangest dream the other night. My index finger was infected and hurt. I tried to find the reason, a cut or wound, but there wasn’t one. The skin was transparent, and I could see the infection was green. Yuck!

Lauri: The index finger is the nagging finger! It’s the finger we—especially us gals—use when we continually tell someone what to do or blame them for something we feel they did wrong. Have you been nagging or blaming someone lately ... maybe hubby? The index finger can also be about trying to get a “point” across. Have you been having a hard time making your point lately? Whatever the case, the fact that the finger was infected is the way your dreaming mind is telling you that this is an unhealthy thing to do. Sometimes it’s best to overlook certain things. Choose your battles, as they say.

Sue Ann replies: This is so true. As much as I hate to admit it, I have been maybe just a little bit of a nag toward my husband recently. We have a lot of “projects” that need to be completed around the house, and they are not getting done as quickly as I would like. I find it very interesting how the interpretations of your dreams help you understand issues that may be subconsciously bothering you on a day-to-day basis. Thank you!
