I recently spent three months in physical therapy. Several weeks ago I dreamt I was leaving therapy to go home. There was construction work going on outside. There were many cats stuck in the cement that was slowly setting and they were unable to move. I told the construction boss he can’t do this. He told me when they put the final layer of concrete down, nobody would know. I went back into the building and told the director about this and he made them remove and clean all the cats. Lauri: The construction work is the rebuilding of your body ... unless there is some other area of your life that is “in the works.” Cats, in a man’s dream, most often refer to a woman he is attracted to. Less often cats represent independence. In your case, they could be standing in for both! The surgery has restricted your sense of independence for sure! Has it also constricted your sex life? Interesting that the boss tells you that no one will know! Anything you have been hiding? The good news comes when the cats are finally released. This is your dreaming mind reassuring you that you will indeed get your independence—and your sex life—back.

Charles replies: Your reading was very accurate. My sex life is very frustrating at this time due to the pain and limited movement of my leg. I haven’t really had much of a sex life but sure miss it!
