It’s inevitable. February 14 is upon us. And let’s face it, many of us have a love/hate relationship with Valentine’s Day. The District Tavern Group understands, so its venues Presidio and Al’s Garage are presenting parties to please all.

Let’s start with you love birds out there. Head over to Presidio to enjoy the restaurant’s Celebrate Love special: a three-course meal complete with a glass of champagne. That’s a no-cooking-necessary score for just $39. Observing Singles Awareness Day instead? You’ll probably want to be surrounded by those who share your dislike of the Hallmark holiday perpetuated by the chocolate industry. At Al’s Garage’s Love Stinks party, a shot and a beer will run you $8. Follow them up with a couple of Jell-O shots ($2 each) and you’ll be well on your way to forgetting the holiday altogether.
