Horror Movie Slumber Party Remember when the 12-year-old you stayed up all night watching horror movies with friends? Do it again at this all-night marathon, featuring all three Slumber Party Massacre movies, plus more horror classics, free popcorn and a pajama contest. Vegas Indie Film Fest This year’s edition focuses on local feature films, with movies by Kelly Schwarze, David Schmoeller, Jeremy Cloe, Timothy L. Anderson and Ted V. Mikels. Thai/Lao Food & Culture Festival Celebrate Songkran, the Buddhist New Year, with a beauty contest, a parade, carnival rides and tons of great food. Feast on authentic dishes like sticky rice, larb, papaya salad, satay and more. April 27 & 28, 9 a.m.-10 p.m., $5, Cannery.
